Eigner PLM 5.1

Eigner PLM is an enterprise product lifecycle management solution from Agile Software, based on technology acquired from Eigner. It centralizes product data and processes across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, providing robust product data management, document control, bill of materials and configuration management, and end-to-end change management (ECR/ECO).

Key capabilities include multi-CAD data management, secure versioning and access control, workflow-driven approvals, variant and configuration handling, and multi-site collaboration. The system helps standardize new product introduction, maintain a single source of truth, and support compliance with comprehensive audit trails and rules-based change processes. Following Agile’s acquisition of Eigner, Eigner PLM evolved into the Agile e6 offering within the Agile PLM portfolio and remains in use in many long-lived deployments.
